When I copy the test footage I shot to my hard drive, the actual mxf clip is found in XDROOT > Clip, but as I trying to import those files into final cut 7, neither single clip nor entire folders can be recognized by log and transfer. How to Open Sony PXW-FS7 XAVC videos in FCP 7
Step 1: Launch the Sony XAVC to FCP Converter. Click "Add" icon to load video files from Sony PXW-FS7 or directly drag&drop the files into file list.
Step 2: Click the "Format" bar and select Final Cut Pro> Apple ProRes 422(*.mov) as output format, which should work with FCP 7 perfectly.
